The Flat Tops Scenic Byway is a secluded 82 mile stretch in beautiful Northwest Colorado. It connects the towns of Meeker and Yampa. Although remote, active ranches, and mines exist along the drive, with something around every turn. The entire drive usually takes about 2 to 3 hours. (Note: Some of it is on gravel roads and not passable in the winter).
This area of remote Colorado has many outdoor activities for many enthusiasts. Camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, OHV, Scenic Drives, and winter activities like: cross country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing are the most common.
